Help please! Has anyone had any luck fixing extremely slow speeds through a work at home VPN (specifically Cisco Anyconnect)? Speeds drop to 2-3 mbps download and 5 or less upload. Ping increases to 200-300. Even hard wired with the ethernet cord. I cannot change the VPN or my work laptop settings, they are controlled by my employer and their tech says the issue is on Tmobile, which seems correct to me.. I tried a hard wired connection to my personal laptop and the speeds drastically dropped as well. (Also, the same type of set up on my work equipment with my previous ISP were nowhere near that low). Iโm completely new to Tmobile 5g Home internet and need my upload speed at minimum 12 mbps for my work requirements Iโd appreciate any help or suggestions please!! Tmobile tech/customer service is just blaming the VPN and/or my employer.
ETA: I have the Arcadyan KVD21 Gateway.
I use Proton VPN on all my devices (plain Sagemcom gateway, no add-on router) and have very little slowdown in my speeds. Maybe TMHI just doesnโt play well with Anyconnect. Which sucks, cuz itโs not like you can just change your work VPN.
