I’m going to start camp very soon but before I go I would like to gain a robust knowledge on IP in general (especially copyright, patents, and trademarks) and the prevalent issues on it today. I’ve already watched the MSU topic lecture series. Does anyone have any recommended books, articles, videos to learn about both IP and the contemporary issues people are talking about?
Emory has an hour+ long topic lecture on YouTube.
These were recommended by a former debater turned lawyer for background:
Aram Sinnreich The Essential Guide to Intellectual Property
I haven’t looked into these books yet. So, I can’t personally vouch, but the person who posted them has good takes from what I’ve seen.
I don’t know if they are available for free anywhere. Sometimes you can find pdf copies of things with a little searching.
When I was looking to see if camps had put anything up, I saw a lot of other seemingly relevant videos.
