What VPN do you find works best? I leave for China and have had some VPNs that worked intermittently, some not at all, and some worked well.
I used Wgetcloud with Stash app when I visit China last month and it was very stable and fast. YouTube/Netflix, no buffering time all. social apps are all working great. If you can read Chinese and geeky, know how to import config to Stash this is the way to go
