Express VPN just brought back split tunneling so I figured I set it up so I could always be running my VPN and have Plex be the only exception so it still works outside of my wifi. However, it doesn’t seem to be working and I have no idea why. Has anyone been able to get split tunneling to work with Express VPN?
from my experience, Plex never works with exclusive split tunneling. only inclusive tunneling works “only apps selected goes through the vpn”
do express vpn offer wireguard configs? if so i can point you in the right direction.

did you set the preferred connection inside plex to use the VPN interface? or did you leave it as “any”?
Same here. I’ve seen reports that the problem is ExpressVPN but they just brought back split tunneling so I was curious to see if anyone was having the same issue
Oh I’m not using ExpressVPN. -neither should you but that’s a topic for another day-
It’s another day - can you explain please? I mostly use it for my Android phone and no issues…
