In the last few days I’ve had to side load the APK version to my Android tv box, and disable the threat manager options on my iPhone. They’ve screwed something up in the latest update.
I have ExpressVPN on my Nividia Shield with Android TV with no issues. Also have it on my Chromecast with Google TV no issues. I did one time about a year ago have updating issues and I had to uninstall, clear cache and data and reinstall from Play Store and that fixed it up
I spent a couple of hours with chat support trying to figure out why the vpn location kept reverting to the “smart” location . After trying absolutely everything, they finally walked me through side loading the APK version and assured me the engineers were working on it. Today in chat support, I also got a mention about engineers, so I’m guessing there are some issues

Yes, there was an issue where the location could unexpectedly revert to “Smart Location”. This has now been fixed in version 11.32.0 for ExpressVPN for Android.
