Question about Teams for Mobile

Does anyone know if we can access our work Teams on the mobile app? I haven’t even tried to see if it was possible, and I wasn’t sure if that would be a big no no, however I know Teams doesn’t require VPN access.

Depends on the department. Some only allow you to log into Teams from a work-issued device, while others you can log in from any device.

Each department is different. We recently went through an M365 deployment within the organization I work for. Do you know if your organization has allowed access to M365 resources such as email from a personal device? If so, you may have access to Teams.

If they haven’t permitted it from personal devices, you might still be able to access M365 resources via a browser.

I have a government iPhone (with data) and Teams works perfectly well.

If it is a GoC-issued mobile device, then yes. If not, probably no.

I work at ESDC and my team has the mobile app. I can view my calendar and even join meetings from it without connecting to the VPN.

If your Teams is PB, then access is only from GC-supplied PB devices (laptop, tablet, phone, etc.). That will likely mean VPN only, too.
