What can you all say about Kaspersky? I am planning to purchase it.
I am not from the US, I am in Asia PH.
I just want to hear insights and opinions about it.
There is no evidence that Kaspersky has done anything wrong, and as a company, it has an excellent reputation. However, politically, things are very complicated, so I suggest looking at other solutions for now.
Emsisoft, Sophos, Bitdefender, and others can offer equally effective protection.
It’s safe, and it is the best antivirus alongside BitDefender.

No one can tell you if it is safe. I doubt anyone in this community has reviewed the source code personally. Also, no one can tell you it isn’t safe since they probably have no proof of malicious activities.
Is it worth it? Yes, it is a great antivirus.
I am using Kasperky Standard, I think it is pretty safe.
It is true that much of the management has moved to Switzerland, and they have moved many of their servers to Switzerland and other Central European countries that are part of the EU.
The US magazines gave Kaspersky top ratings when reviewing third-party tests.
Bitdefender has the same score as Kaspersky in those tests.

Turns out I couldn’t own Kaspersky due to payment issues. (I tried multiple times, even with different cards and devices)
I am considering Bitdefender. Is it okay and worth it?
Just buy a key code at the supermarket and redeem it.
There’s also Avast, and you can get Hitman Pro for free to run a second opinion scan.
Maybe, but Kaspersky is a Russian company, so I wouldn’t trust it. But Windows Defender is good enough.
Yes, it is safe! Not my favorite, but it’s all good.
I still use it; it’s my favorite antivirus. Even if they are snooping, I’m pretty sure I don’t have anything on my PC that they want

I use Kaspersky Free and can wholeheartedly recommend it. I used Bitdefender and ESET before. They are good, but not as good as the champion.
Just use Windows Defender; it’s the best.
Honestly, it’s not just a US issue. Many countries like Germany also advise against using Kaspersky. Whether you follow this advice or not is up to you.
Please, don’t compare TikTok to Kaspersky.
Can you recommend other antivirus options?
By the way, Kaspersky stores data in the EU region. Data does not go to Russia.
