I’m trying to install the Forticlient VPN on my mac for work, but it seems that I can’t connect to the update server and get the program…
The server 96.45.33.105 seems unreachable. What can I do in order to get the VPN client ?
What exactly are you trying to get to? The free VPN-only client is available for download here: https://www.forticlient.com/downloads (use the download button underneath the “FortiClient VPN” title, not the ones above it)
If you’re trying to get the managed version, your IT should provide you the installer or a link to their EMS server hosting it.
I’m just trying to get the free VPN-only client and i’ve dowloaded it from there. The problem is during the installation, the updater can’t connect to the servers… (i’ve had to launch it from a terminal to get the adress i’ve put in my precedent message)
Ah, I see. You’re using the online installer which needs to download additional stuff during install.
That’s probably (hopefully!) just some temporary issue on the server. If you tell me the exact version you need (or just the latest?), I can try to get the full installer for you and message you the link to it.
If you can provide me the latest offline installer it would be awesome

Simplest approach - open a case with the TAC, ask them nicely.
