Help new to PIA / vuze

hello been torrenting and browsing trough PIA for a short time now and just recently ran in to issues.

first: i have vuze set to bind to local ip address or interface option set to run through eth4 (tap win 32) which is my vpn port, but when i try to use vuze i cant connect and vuze shows a green routing icon but says no connections available

secondly: when connected to my vpn although im able to browse the web my network sharing center shows the vpn connection as an unidentified network with no internet access.

im on windows 7 and any hep is welcome

Don’t use Vuze.. uninstall and use uTorrent, Deluge, Transmission or qBittorrent

  1. Enable the VPN kill switch
  2. DNS leak protection
  3. Check your IP > http://checkmytorrentip.net/ | http://ipleak.net/ | https://www.dnsleaktest.com/
  4. Disable IPv6 (or use a client that disables it automatically, like the PIA client)

can you explain in detail about the “DNS Leak Protection” and disabling IPv6?

I too have been using Vuze (On Mac) and hate it. I miss transmission.
I’ve enabled the VPN kill switch and go on ipleak regularly.
