Just yesterday this started happening, I have full wifi and full 5G and yet select apps refuse to work. Snapchat, Twitter, along with a few games refuse to connect to the Internet despite my phone saying it has full service? Instagram works fine, YouTube works fine, I can browse the internet, Spotify connects, but nothing else?
If I completely shut off my phone and re power it on, that works for a few minutes actually, but then goes back to not working. Any help?
Google discontinued the Google VPN that came with Google One/pixel phone on June 20th. I’m assuming the issues started yesterday/today? That’s what it seems from your post.
This has been going on for a lot of people including me. It started yesterday somebody recommended turning off your vpn I tried that and it worked for me. Give that a try
I literally came here to post the exact same thing! Some apps work, some don’t. But all of them work with data.
I’ve not had a lot of the issues others have had with Pixels, but this is super frustrating! I even reset our home router, and it seemed to help, but then I had to leave for work.
I guess we’ll see if it’s still working when I get back. Work wifi is pretty finicky right now, so I don’t have my hopes up.
If you find a solution, please let me know!
I see from the comments this seems to be a new and common thing. It started happening with me yesterday with the VPN issue. It randomly fixed itself midway thru the day and I was able to use everything with it on but now this morning it’s back to nothing working except YouTube and IG. I also updated to the June patch the day before and this problem wasn’t a thing before I updated so idk if those 2 are related or not. Hopefully whatever it is gets fixed asap cuz I do like the VPN feature and use it all the time.
