Everyone needs a “go to” place…Deli Lane Cafe could be it…
Everyone needs a casual eating and drinking establishment; a “go to” place as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans; with a menu selection of reasonably priced, good tasting, quality food. Deli Lane Café located on Siesta Drive in Sarasota is such a place. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted with smiles, friendly attentive service, and a bright, airy, casual décor.
Focusing primarily on breakfast and lunch, there is an extensive menu from which to choose. Making a single selection is not easy, but we chose the following for our lunch:
Pressed Duck: A Deli Lane original. Tender duck breast grilled with brie and onions, pressed on a hoagie with apricot sauce on the side. $10.95
Warm, succulent, gooey and delicious
Caesar Salad: Romaine lettuce, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, garlic croutons, and a creamy, delectable Caesar dressing. Starter, $3.95
Crisp, clean, fresh and crunchy…the way romaine should be!
Garden Salad: Fresh mesclun greens, with tomato, cucumber, grated carrots, croutons, and hard boiled egg slices. Entree with grilled chicken $9.95 includes freshly baked muffin
Colorful, crisp and fresh with tender grilled chicken…a satisfying meal onto itself
As previously mentioned, all the staff were friendly, attentive, checked back on us frequently, and made sure our visit was a pleasant one. It was most enjoyable.
Just like the comfort of your favorite jeans which you never tire to wear, so it is when visiting the Deli Lane Café. Your “go to” place for casual dining.
